Milky Way Galaxies Going To Disappear Soonly,

Hello friends, in today's date, we see Milky Way as something like above picture. But the interesting thing is that 20 years ago, our parents used to see Milky Way as something another.

Filled with wires. That is, you can clearly see here that the Milky Way that we see today is nothing as compared to what our parents used to see. But the most unfortunate thing is that if this continues, our future children will never see Milky Way.

That is, they will only be able to see Milky Way in old pictures, not in real life. Well, according to a research published in the Journal of Science, in 2011, 100 stars were visible from your location at the same time. Today, it has reduced to only 34 stars.

That is, at any given time, from night sky, you can only watch 34 stars. But this is not just about the appearance of stars or Milky Way. Rather, the larger picture of it actually points to a very serious problem.

Because it tells somewhere that the existence of us humans has become so powerful and dominating over other species. And because of this, we humans gamble with the future of the entire earth. And you will find out very soon why I am saying this.

Well, let's take a look at an interesting pattern here. As of today, there are only 7 places in India from where we can see Milky Way in real life. But India's current situation has already been like this since 1994.

In fact, the situation there has become so bad that you can only guess from this that one day when they saw a grayish white cloud in the sky, the people there literally, seeing that cloud, in fear, called the US Emergency Service 911 for help.

So this is about 1994 when there was an earthquake in Los Angeles, USA at 4.30 in the morning. This earthquake caused such a commotion that the city's lights went out and there was darkness in the entire city.

And that's why, to fix those lights, when the people there left their homes, their eyes went to the sky. And they were shocked to see the sky. Well, because normally, they used to see the sky like this from their city.

But that day, they were seeing the sky like this. So clearly that they could see stars, planets, and even satellites with their own eyes. Now, it was okay to see stars in the sky.

But when they saw a grayish white cloud in the sky, they thought that it was an asteroid or a meteorite that was about to fall there. And that's why, to save their lives, they immediately called the US Emergency Service 911 and asked for help.

But when the US Emergency Service reached there, they saw that the person they were so scared of was actually the Milky Way Galaxy.

Now, this incident sounds quite funny to hear. But this incident is pointing towards an underlying problem. The people who reported this incident were not all children.

In fact, they were all adults. That means their average age was around 30 years. But still, at the age of 30, they had never seen the Milky Way.

Now, it is obvious that whether you have seen the Milky Way in your life or not, what difference does it make? Many people may not even know how the Milky Way actually appears.

But if this same thing happens in a place like South Africa, it will have a major impact on their lives. Because in Africa, there are some insects whose entire life depends on how clearly the Milky Way appears in the sky.

Well, for example, there is an insect called Dung Beetle in South Africa, on which in 2013, biologist Mary Dackey and her team conducted a research. Then they saw that these beetles always walk in a straight line at night without any landmarks or references.

And they were clueless about this behavior of these beetles. Because they knew that insects like Dung Beetles have eyes made up of many small lenses.

And here the contradiction was that they could not focus on point objects like stars. And they found them to be completely dim.

This means that Dung Beetles are not able to navigate in the sky with the help of stars. So then the question arose in front of those researchers that how are they able to walk in a straight line even in such darkness?

To find out the answer to this question, the scientists took those beetles to Johannesburg Planetarium, i.e. a place where they could project the night sky through a projector and create it artificially.

They took them there for the sake of an experiment. Here they could manipulate the starlight in their own way to find out with whose help those beetles find their way.

And one day while manipulating the starlight, they found an interesting correlation between their behavior and the Milky Way galaxy.

With this correlation, they assumed that the beetles follow the Milky Way's arm in the sky.

To confirm this, they changed the direction of the Milky Way's arm in the planetarium many times. And they were right.

They saw that every time the direction of the arm changed, the beetles would follow it and travel in a straight line.

And because of this, it is highly possible that if the Milky Way ceases to be visible, then the behavior of the beetles will change due to which they won't be able to find food from time to time and their existence will be questioned.

And friends, you know what? It's not just about the beetles here. There are many other animals that show such behavior traits that are dependent on the Milky Way galaxy.

For example, Indigo Bunting, which is a bird. Sea Turtle, which is a reptile. Their survival will also be in danger.

Now, if all these animals, which are somehow dependent on the Milky Way or the starlight for their survival, become extinct, then this can have a complete food chain effect.

And somewhere or the other, the effects can spiral down and reach humans and the entire ecosystem can be in danger.

And that's why scientists want to know the reason for the disappearance of the Milky Way and the stars.

Well friends, interestingly, after doing detailed research on this matter, by thousands of scientists, it was found out that the reason behind this phenomenon is a very special type of pollution which has never been discussed before and that pollution is called light pollution. Actually, in 2014, the president of Italy's National Association for the Protection of the Night Environment, physicist Fabio Falci, studied the night sky in detail. During this study, he compared observations of more than 35,000 ground telescopes and used them to create a scale for the quality of the night sky.

For this, Falci considered the most common galaxies in the sky like Andromeda, Triangulum, and Jupiter, the brightest planet. And on different locations, he calculated how dim or bright all these objects look. Then, on the basis of these calculations, he divided the night sky into different classes and plotted it on a world map like this.

Now, let me tell you exactly what to see on this map. So, the areas that are dark grey, their night sky quality is the best. That is, from these locations, you can only see the galaxy that you have seen with your own eyes.

But as soon as the colors move from dark grey to brighter shades and finally turn white, the quality of the night sky deteriorates at those locations and the stars stop appearing. For example, if we look at the case of India, then the quality of the night sky in the capital city of Delhi is very bad. But surprisingly, if we look at the night sky quality of the Rajasthan desert, which is only 800 km southwest, then its quality is the best.

And look, not only Delhi, but all the developed and populated cities like Mumbai, Hyderabad, and even the highly developed areas of other countries like New York, Paris, and London are in the same condition. That means, where there is more population and development, the quality of the night sky is bad. Because in all these developed countries, lights are used a lot.

Now, I know, you must be thinking that if we turn off the lights like Americans, then we will also be able to see the Milky Way galaxy. So, what is so problematic in that? Well, the thing is that even if we turn off the lights, we will still not be able to see the Milky Way. Yes, that's correct.

Let's come back to the map. Can you spot another pattern in this? In all these cities, there is a lot of air pollution. And because of air pollution, the dust particles in the air scatter the light in this way and make this situation even worse.

That means, all in all, due to the combined effect of light and air pollution, slowly, the Milky Way and all the other stars, or simply speaking, our real night sky is becoming invisible. But now let's assume that in the next 50 years, we have controlled both these pollutions. Will we still be able to see the Milky Way galaxy? Will we be able to see the Milky Way galaxy no longer? Well, here comes another pattern that is affecting this whole phenomenon.

And if that pattern continues, then yes, it will be difficult for us in the future as well. Actually, the American Academy of Ophthalmology scientists conducted a study in 2016. In this study, they analyzed a lot of eye diseases-related surveys and plotted a graph on their basis.

According to this graph, by 2050, almost half of the world's population will be suffering from myopia. Simply speaking, their far-sightedness will have weakened. And this is because, according to an eye specialist professor, Rupert Bond, people's screen time is increasing, which is directly blurring their vision.

And this is why, to understand this, which is quite interesting, the human eye is like a camera, in which the lenses present are flattened to see distant objects and curved to see nearby objects. Now, in this conversion, these hair-like ciliary muscles help. So, when the ciliary muscles contract, the lens becomes curved.

And on the other hand, when the muscles relax, the lens becomes flat and sends a clear image of distant objects to the brain. Now, in this case, if you keep looking at something nearby for a long time, the strained ciliary muscles get strained, which makes them unable to relax. And as a result, the lens starts getting locked in the same phase.

In other words, simply speaking, things start looking blurred to us. In fact, this has already happened in Singapore. You may not know this, but in today's time, Singapore has literally become the world's myopia capital.

Because 80% of the population there suffers from myopia. And interestingly, Singapore is the only country where there is the highest level of light pollution. That is, according to the trend, Singapore will be the first country where people will never be able to see Milky Way again.

And if the condition of Singapore is the same, if the number of eye defects and light pollution continues to increase, then by the end of the 21st century, it will be impossible to see Milky Way from other countries. We don't have the exact answer to how long this will happen. Because this is just a prediction made by scientists based on understanding current trends.

Vansala, stop here for a minute and think a little. Was Milky Way going to be visible to us forever? Well, if I talk about many millions of years later, then the answer is not in simple words at all. Because after so much time, naturally, many changes are going to take place on Earth.

Due to continuous volcanic eruptions in the future, our sky will be covered with a sheet of clouds. As a result, Milky Way will stop being visible from Earth. Plus, due to the expansion of the universe, a time will come when all the stars will have gone away from us.

And with these stars, the center of Milky Way, which we can see from here today. Basically, black, dark, and dark will be visible in the sky. That is, naturally, Milky Way is going to stop being visible from Earth someday.

It's going to stop. Just currently, as I said at the beginning of the video, the major issue is that due to human activities, this seemingly slow process is happening in front of our eyes today. And for example, just 4 years ago, there was a cold wave in America.

Because of which the temperature had dropped to such an extent that the hottest state in the US, Texas, where the temperature is normally 40 degrees Celsius, the temperature there had reached minus 18 degrees Celsius. And the entire city was covered with snow. And all of this happened because the cold wave on our North Pole roams around all year round.

But due to industrial revolution, pollution, and human activities, the global temperature has increased so much that the cold wave that was tied to the North Pole has leaked to Texas in the US. Now, how did this happen? And what exactly is this cold wave? What is the system behind it? And how much damage has it caused? I have already made a detailed video on this. You can click here to watch it.

You will get a lot of knowledge from that video. And friends, if you learned anything new by watching this video, then do drop a like. See you next time.

Stay curious, keep learning, and keep growing.
